1/32 Project 865 Losos
Project 865 Piranya or Losos Class is a Russian midget spy submarine. 2 submarines were built in 1986 and 1990 respectively. Their hulls were constructed of titanium and were just 28.2 meters long. They could launch mines or divers on 'chariots' through the 2 'torpedo' tubes' My model is based on a Baymo kit, produced in small numbers (10?) around 2003, and was a joint venture between a German and Russian company. I was lucky enough to aquire an unbuilt kit.
